Day 01: Arrive at Delhi
On arrival by an international flight a traditional welcome called Swagat will be awaiting you. All help will be rendered by a representative at the airport and from there to the hotel till your check-in there.

The strategic location of Delhi is the main reason why several dynasties had chosen it as their capital. This metropolitan city is the capital of India even today and it is full of life where a mélange of the old world charm and modernity can be seen.

Today you can find a vast difference in the life styles of New Delhi and the walled city, the old part of Delhi. In the first half of the twentieth century, New Delhi came into existence much of which was planned by sir Edwin Lutyens, an architect. As a testimony to the British rule in India he laid out an ostentatious area which was used for administrative purpose.

Day 02 : Delhi
A guided tour of the Old Delhi which was the walled city of shah Jahanabad in the seventeenth century will be sighted after your breakfast. The first destination would be the primary mosques of old Delhi, the Jama Masjid. This is followed by a tour on foot or a rickshaw ride whichever is preferable, of the charming bazaar of today situated in Chandni Chowk which was once the old market place of Shah Jahanabad.

New Delhi is the next destination and your tour starts by a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi the father of the Nation. In honor of the soldiers who gave up their lives fighting in the Afghan wars and World War I a memorial was built at India Gate in 1831 and this would be our next stop. Next we visit the memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun the Humayun’s Tomb which was built in 1952. We get an insight into the Indo-Islamic architecture by paying a visit next to the great Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world and built by Qutub-Ud-Din Aibek in the year 1206. Further it is the Akshardham Temple which is our next destination. It is a stunning monument and is built without the use of steel. 234 ornately carved pillars, 20 Quadrangle Shikars, 9 magnificent domes, a marvelous Gajendra Pith and 20,000 statues and Murtis of the devotees, great Sadhus, Acharyas and divine personalities found here are what that makes it a must visit place.

Day 03: Delhi - Mathura and Vindavan (155 km – 3 hrs)
You will head toward Mathura and Vindavan from Delhi after being picked up in the morning. Known as Braj-Bhoomi Mathura is a little town and is the birth place of lord Krishna. Situated on river Yamuna it is about 155 km from Delhi.

Vindavan, noted for the fragrant groves once is the village in which he had spent his eventful youth. The enchantment of Shri Krishna still reverberates in several spots in this area. Checking in at the hotel in Vindavan on arrival, in the afternoon you can proceed with the sightseeing tour of this area which has enchanting spots like Vishram Ghat, Shri Krishna Janm Bhumi, Dwarkadeesh Temple, Nidhivan, Gita Mandir, Seva Kunj, Banke Bihari Temple and So On.

Day 04: Mathura- Agra (60 km/ 2 hrs)
On day four, you can drive to Agra after having some breakfast. You can check into a hotel on arrival. The tour of this town will start after lunch. The first destination is Taj Mahal the symbol of eternal love. This is a tomb built in 1631 in the memory of Mumtaz Mahal, wife of Shah Jahan the fifth Mughal emperor. This tomb stands tall on the banks of river Yamuna and it took 22 years to build it for its precession demanded by the emperor. The Agra Fort which is more precisely called as a walled palatial city was ceased by the Mughal emperor Akbar from the Lodhis in the late sixteenth century is the next place of interest that you will visit. Inlaid with intricate decorations and white marble this structure is built from red sandstone. Jahangir, son of Akbar completed the construction of his father’s tomb Sikandara in 1613. From the fort you can further proceed to the place where it is situated. From there you can head to Agra a beautiful town built on the banks of river Yamuna. The splendid Mughal era monuments, Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort are the attractions of this once prominent capital city of the Mughal emperors which remained so from 1526 to 1628.

Day 05: Agra – Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (260 km – 6hrs)
On day five the tour is begun by a visit to Fatehpur Sikri (ghost capital), the political capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar from 1571until 1585 when due to shortage of water it was apparently abandoned. Then en route to Jaipur our next destination you can have a glimpse of the residential complex of Emperor Akbar, mosque and tomb of Salim Chisti.

Checking into the hotel would be the first activity you would do on arrival at the colorful capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur also known as pink city. The glorious tales of bravery and valor of its rich and vivid past has made it one of the prominent heritage cities in India.

Day 06: Jaipur
At seven in the morning the tour of the next destination Amber Fort starts. Situated at a distance of 25 km the palace complex was built during the reign of raja man Singh and stands tall even today. You can have a remarkable experience reaching the huge citadel, riding on an elephant. A perfect blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture can be seen in the City Palace. The Chandra palace is situated at the center of this palace and is seven storied from where an exotic view of the garden and the city can be had.

After a visit to this palace you can then proceed to an astronomical treasure house, the Jantar Mantar (solar observatory) that has solar devices and these give authentic predictions till date from this. Hawa Mahal (Palace Of Winds), a five storied building is the next destination you can land in. Built in 1799 with pink sandstone and fitted with Jharokas (mini windows) it allowed the veiled royal women to view the busy street market while they remained unseen by the world.

Day 08: Delhi – Rishikesh (220 km/ 6 hrs)
Rishikesh in Haridwar District of Uttarakhand state in India is a holy city. From Delhi you can continue your sojourn to this sacred place after checking out from the hotel room post breakfast. This religious city is considered as one of the seven most sacred places for the Hindus. Haridwar means Gateway to God, Dwar of Hari in Hindi. Hari means God and Dwar means gate.

Day 09: - Rishikesh
In the morning you can have your breakfast at the hotel.

Visiting the city of Rishikesh is on the next agenda. Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula are the most popular spots here and they are the must visit spots for every visitor including you. Of course the several ashrams and temples in their vicinity too deserve a stopover. Driving to Delhi after checking out and having lunch is the next in line. On the way you can visit Har Ki Pauri Ghat and some temples in Haridwar.

Day 10: - Rishikesh
Eat your delicious breakfast at the hotel. While you make your trip to river Ganges, you can go for white water rafting a popular sport in Rishikesh. The path of several kilometers that is interspersed with different levels of rapids that range from 1 to 5 depending on their difficulty levels is used for rafting.
